Chit Chat

It's time to build a chat server! It will feature multiple rooms, basic user auth, permissions and more. We'll use the new Phoenix 1.4 channels, Webpack 4, SCSS, Babel, Cowboy 2 and Ecto 3.

Note: This series is archived due to its specific focus on Phoenix 1.4. The content on channels and building chat servers is evergreen but Phoenix's front-end pipeline has changed and no longer uses Webpack. Anyone who was a member before this series was archived also has access to the 5 Little Potions book, which covers many of the same concepts in LiveView for its final game.
